Welcome to my election website!
Welcome and thanks! Thank you for all your support in 2004, 2006, and again in 2008. Each election was better than the one before. You displayed lawn signs, contributed money, volunteered your time, worked on election day, publicly endorsed my campaign, and voted for me. You had other choices, but decided that a thoughtful, family based, justice oriented, law abiding approach to state government is best.
I am the second oldest of eleven children of John and Georgine Kearney. I was born in Philadelphia in 1952. My mother passed away, my father is 83 years old and in less than perfect health. They taught me many good things, fairness being one of them, hard work another. I am the father of a 15 year old daughter (thinks she is 19) and a twelve year old son (thinks he will someday soon beat me in basketball). I live in Tacony. I am 58 years old but can still walk 50 miles straight in one day. I will walk all over 65 divisions before May 18th.
Thanks for visiting my campaign website. Primary election day is Tuesday May 18th, the polls open at 7 AM. I trust you will consider voting for me, and this website is designed to convince you to vote for me. Right now, I am the only announced candidate from any party for the 172nd District seat of the Pennsylvania General Assembly. This will change, but it is indicative of my commitment to the election and to the important issues affecting the district. It also shows that the incumbent's indictment has put the Republican Party into disarray.
With your help, I am going to win the Democratic Party's Primary Election on Tuesday May 18th, and then the General Election in November. On this website you can read about important current issues, sign-up to volunteer, and contribute financially.
I invite you to join my campaign, I invite you to run for committee person in your division, and marry our campaigns together. The issues and these times are too important to sit on the sidelines, if you are able, and interested in government. Come help me govern, because government does matter.
